ZellComp® Fiber-Reinforced Composite Bridge Decks offer timely solutions to difficult bridge design issues.  ZellComp’s decks are cost efficient and easy and fast to install, use progressive materials, and, with a lower carbon footprint, offer significant environmental advantages.

Building on sound research and testing and early successful commercial installations, ZellComp decks have gained wide acceptance. Since August 2009 we have installed decks in FloridaIndiana, and Alabama.  In Florida, the ZellComp deck replaced an open steel grating deck (the old deck had required constant maintenance due to corrosion). In Indiana, our deck replaced a corroded concrete deck and was selected primarily for its maintenance free characteristics. In Alabama, the ZellComp deck was selected by the Army Corp of Engineers as part of its FRP program, where they are focusing on accelerated construction, light weight materials, and reduced environmental impact.  Our next installation is scheduled in Portland, Oregon, where the ZellComp deck will be used on a movable bridge.
